Although Amelie’s<\/strong><\/a><\/span> is in the heart of West Midtown, it’s one of the rare places with a full parking lot dedicated to the space. The actual Cafe & Bakery is also spacious inside with many tables suitable for working, studying or simply enjoying a quiet moment with your\u00a0food selection. The music that echoes throughout the space is of the “chill” variety and is sure to give you a much needed escape from reality. Even for just a song. Amelie’s <\/a><\/strong><\/span>expands beyond its large room with all the tables, art and display case of incredibly\u00a0delicate foods. There are multiple rooms for events! Some of their most popular occasions to host events are baby showers, bridal showers and birthday parties but with the accessible parking and “break from reality” feel, it would be nice for any occasion or holiday.<\/p>\n

Simon’s Restaurant<\/a> in Midtown has been open less than a year and already has a big-time trophy under their belt. The restaurant won “Best Taste” of Sunday at Taste of Atlanta on October 21st. Simon’s is best known for creative southern dishes and a truly Instagram-able build out. Chef Robert Butts crafts a unique and ever-changing menu with options ranging from indulgent to vegan; savory composed plates to painstakingly homemade\u00a0pastries. His enthusiasm is infectious and every restaurant-goer can appreciate the good vibes that radiate from his kitchen and extend throughout the entire dining space.<\/p>\n

Chef Robert updates his menu seasonally and right now, he’s focused on fall comfort foods. We went behind-the-scenes to capture some of these decadent dishes.
