Taste of Atlanta is a cashless festival with state of the art RFID technology that makes it easier and faster for attendees to enter the festival and make purchases—all with just the tap of a wristband! Attendees will pay for their bites, brews and other merchandise by activating their wristbands and loading additional "Taste Points" online in advance or at select Taste Point Top Up stations located at the festival.
General Admission tickets include 10 Taste Points.
VIP Tickets (formerly the VIP Experience) include 20 Taste Points.
Note: restaurants in the VIP area will require Taste Points for their tastes. The first 300 Saturday VIP ticket buyers and the first 300 Sunday VIP ticket buyers will receive an exclusive gift bag at the festival.
All festival attendees must wear a wristband at all times. Guests who purchase in advance must activate their wristband prior to the event. Activating in advance also allows buyers to Top Up their Taste Points prior to entering the festival.
Taste of Atlanta tickets are likely to sell out in advance. Do not wait to buy tickets at the gate. Get your tickets early, tap your wristband and walk right in!

What are "Taste Points?"
"Taste Points" are the official currency at Taste of Atlanta.
1 Taste Point = $1.00
When you purchase your ticket in advance, you will receive a General Admission wristband that is pre-loaded with 10 Taste Points or a VIP wristband that is pre-loaded with 20 Taste Points..
Why RFID wristbands?
Taste of Atlanta festivalgoers will benefit from a totally streamlined and enhanced experience with the RFID wristband. Making for speedier entry, purchases for food, drink and merchandise with a simple tap of their RFID wristbands enable guests to spend more time enjoying all the mouth-watering festivities and less time standing in line.
Registered attendees will receive an email after the festival with a record of all the restaurants and sponsors they visited. This may also be viewed on your online account page.
What is the benefit of purchasing tickets early and activating my RFID wristband?
Buying tickets early, activating wristbands online and loading more Taste Points beforehand provides hungry guests with enhanced benefits at the festival – from reduced wait times to improved customer service in case of lost or damaged wristbands.
Where do I get a wristband?
If you purchase your ticket prior to October 5, 2018 your wristband will be mailed to you. If you purchased after October 5, 2018, you'll exchange your wristband AT THE GATE. No need to head to a tent, head straight to the gate! Make sure you have downloaded your ticket with barcode BEFORE you arrive.
How do I purchase more "Taste Points" and pre-load credits into my account?
Want more points for more tastes and beverages? No problem! It will be easy to pre-load or "top-up" your wristband online, on your smartphone at any time, or at one of our many Taste Point Top Up stations located inside the festival. Save yourself time and top-up your wristband online before the event!
What if I didn't spend all my Taste Points? May I get a refund?
Refunds are only allowed for EXTRA top up points, NOT for the initial points that came with the wristband. If you would like to refund any unspent Taste Points you will need to submit your Bank Account details to receive a refund via electronic bank transfer.

- To be eligible for a refund please register your wristband at www.tasteofatlanta.com/activate and link the RFID wristband for which you are requesting a refund.
- All refunds are subject to a $4.50 refund processing fee.
- Refunds can be requested within 14 days of the end of the festival by clicking the refund button found on your profile page.
- The refund request deadline is 11:59pm on Sunday, November 4th, 2018
