Leah Lonsbury is the founder and Executive Director of Just Bakery of Atlanta. Leah was raised in the Midwest and fell in love with Atlanta, her chosen home town, during grad school. She's an educator by training and has worked in progressive faith communities and written professionally amongst other vocational adventures. Leah lives in unincorporated Decatur with spouse, Justin, son Aiden, daughter Mara, dog Sunny, cats Mac & Cheese, and 8 amazing backyard chickens.
Just Bakery of Atlanta is a nonprofit that partners with our neighbors who resettled as refugees on paid job training, professional certification, and living wage work. We bake with local and sustainable ingredients whenever possible and work to create a more diverse, connected, and compassionate community for all.
