I am the third generation female business owner of Nakato Japanese Restaurant. My grandmother first opened Nakato's doors in 1972 and I have continued to maintain the same high quality, welcoming dining experience that has been a cornerstone of our business. Not only do I spearhead the operations at the restaurant, but I am also a mother to two wonderful young girls.
For almost half a century, Nakato Japanese Restaurant has been known for serving the finest, most authentic Japanese cuisine and bringing the culture of Japan to Atlanta. We pride ourselves in bringing in chefs who were born and trained in Japan and helping them immigrate the US. We have also always overnighted the highest quality fish from Japan to create our award winning Sushi, Sashimi and Nigiri. Celebrating all of the major Japanese holidays at Nakato, we enjoy bringing the cultural heritage of Japan to Atlanta.
